At Sunflower Retreats we've been providing facilities for yoga teachers, workshop and seminar leaders since 1999 at our Casperia, Italy, location.
The Forani Palace, a 15th century palazzo in the medieval village of Casperia, is available for rental and we can organise a personal program designed to suit your needs as a group leader, including:
Transport
En-suite accommodation for up to 18 people, or further accommodation to a maximum of 26 in the original design section of the Palazzo can be made by special arrangement.
A large (50 square metre) studio/function room for yoga or other group activities, in a converted stable building or, for groups of 10 people or less, use of a 40 square-metre studio.
The studio is equipped with coconut carpet and central heating for the cooler months
A wooden platform in the gardens, for outdoor yoga practice or meditation.

Use of the Forani Palace gardens and grounds
Buffet breakfast and vegetarian or non-vegetarian lunch and dinner can be arranged on request, so full-board holidays can be offered.
Costa Rica - Group Hire
Since 2017 we have been hosting and providing services for teachers and their groups at our Costa Rica venues in the Nicoya Peninsula; an exquisite jungle eco-lodge set in the a truly beautiful natural oasis on the hills of the Pacific coast also facilitating retreats in the fishing village of Cabuya at a beautiful lodge right on the beach, overlooking the Pacific ocean. Both locations are Blue Zone locations where people live longer than the average and are low impact.
We can provide for teachers and their groups :
Twin and double en-suite Cabina’s , accommodating up to 16 people including group leader.
Breakfast daily and delicious meals serving Blue Zone locally-sourced cuisine.
A large shala or deck ideal for yoga or a group activity .
A range of Ayurvedic and holistic treatments.
Optional daily activities including transport to sites

“Lucy and Allen are magnificent!!! Lucy has been a healer for 30 years and incorporated all of her wisdom in all she did with me. I came to Sunflower Retreats needing to fill my soul from care taking for a loved one. That is just what she did guiding me through yin yoga and many healing modalities such as reiki and chakra cleansing. On top of that the location was incredibly beautiful and healing practicing in the comfort of a warm embrace from the jungle and with the rhythmic sound of waves crashing in the background.
Allen was just as amazing in his own right. He took care of all of my adventures and logistics making everything so easy and added a depth to each conversation with his consciousness.
