Weekend workshops are offered on some of our holiday weeks and are an optional extra, but cannot be booked independently of a holiday.

Workshops in Laughter Yoga with Carrie Graham

17th & 18th September 2011 - One 2-hour session each day

Carrie Graham

Until you have experienced it, you don't know what your missing: Carrie Graham is an experienced Laughter Yoga teacher and Neuro-Linguistic Programming coach specialising in health and wellbeing. She became a Laughter Yoga leader 6 years ago after realising that laughter helped her balance her somewhat serious outlook on life. So, now she is serious about laughing and works with individuals and groups to help them lighten up their lives - physically, mentally emotionally using laughter.

These workshops, now in their second year at Sunflower Retreats, will help you explore the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits of laughter. We'll use real and pretend laughter to help you discover the essence of unconditional laughter. This is laughter that does not rely on a sense of humour, jokes, a happy mood or good company.

Laughter Yoga with Carrie Graham

The first workshop will begin the journey with an exploration of your beliefs about laughing and laughter, some of the benefits of laughing and lots of laughing - real and pretend. This is followed by a laughter meditation and visualisation to help you to relax and unwind.

The second workshop will help you continue the exploration of unconditioned laughing and rediscovering your inner 'laughing place'.

These workshops are suitable for everyone and highly recommended as a fantastic way to release stress and tension in your body and self and open you up to the joy and laughter of life.
