Making a reservation

To make a reservation, please complete the booking form and fax or mail it with your deposit payment to our UK booking office.

You can pay your deposit by sending a cheque for £100 (or €160) per-person, per-week payable to 'Sunflower Retreats' with your booking form, or by Visa or Mastercard (sorry, no debit cards), by filling-in the details on the booking form or by telephoning the UK booking office. Payments by credit card are subject to a 2.5% surcharge.
Holidays are charged in Sterling (£) for bookings made from the UK and in Euros for other bookings. The exchange rate used is fixed on the date that the brochure was printed.
Once we receive your deposit, your holiday is reserved.

Payment of the balance

Payment of the outstanding balance is due 3 weeks before arrival and can be made by sending a cheque to our UK booking office or informing them of your credit card details. (We do not accept debit cards) Once the UK booking office has received full payment, a reciept will be sent by email and post.

For last minute bookings only, the balance payment can be made upon arrival in Italy in cash (Sterling, Euros or Dollars) or by credit card. Credit card payments are subject to a 2.5% surcharge and are charged in Euros.

Important: We do not accept cheques in Italy.

• As the villlage of Casperia is small, the local bank's cash machine does not always work. We strongly recommend all customers to settle their payment before the start of their holiday or to bring Travellers Cheques or enough cash (in &euro or £) to settle it on arrival.
• Remember that you will need your PIN number!

Payment for extras

Most prices on this site are in Sterling (£). Extras booked in Italy, such as transport, excursions, one-to-one therapies and lessons will be charged in Euros and are to be paid in Casperia.

Holidays of less than 6 nights

If you would like to stay for less than 6 nights, please contact our booking office and we will try to accommodate you.

Families with children

If you are considering bringing your children to your yoga holiday, we can arrange self-catering accommodation for you in the village of Casperia. To increase your enjoyment of this retreat holiday it is recommended that you have your own transport, to give you flexibility of scheduling.

Unfortunately, there are no baby-sitting facilities available in Casperia.

Mobility

Due to the amount of steps in the village of Casperia, our holidays are not suitable for those with disabilities affecting their mobility.

Travel from Rome Leonardo Da Vinci ('Fiumicino') airport

Casperia is located about 90 minutes from Rome's airports. The cheapest and easiest way to reach us from Fiumicino Airport is by the frequent train service to Poggio Mirteto Scalo station. You can take trains which terminate at either Poggio Mirteto Scalo or Orte. The train fare is around £3. Your ticket entitles you to use the local bus service from Poggio Mirteto Scalo station to Casperia. Please be quick as you leave the train, to avoid missing the bus
The last train from Fiumicino airport to Orte via Poggio Mirteto train station is around 8.00pm.

IMPORTANT: If you are arriving by train and would like to be picked up by car at Poggio Mirteto Scalo for the 15Km journey to Casperia, please telephone our Italian office and leave a message on one of the following numbers to let us know the time of the train you are catching so that we can collect you.

Travel from Rome Ciampino airport

You can either travel to Casperia by coach and train or arrange to be collected.

Travel by coach and train is in 4 steps...

• Low-cost carriers sell tickets on-board for the coach service from Ciampino to the city centre which will drop you beside Roma Termini station
• Travel from Termini to Tiburtina station (4 stops) on the Metro 'B' line. Don't forget to frank your ticket before you board
• Take the train from Tiburtina as far as Poggio Mirteto Scalo on the Orte line
• Your ticket entitles you to use the local bus service from Poggio Mirteto Scalo station to Casperia. Please be quick as you leave the train, to avoid missing the bus

Personal collection from Ciampino to Casperia

We can arrange to collect you at a cost of £30-per-person (minimum 2 people). For this service please inform us of your flight arrival date and time and the number of passengers one week before your departure. We will confirm your booking.

Car hire is available at both airports. We suggest booking Hertz, Europcar, or other leading European companies from the UK. Car hire can be useful for guests who would like to be independent and make their own way to restaurants and local attractions.

Please let us know what time you expect to arrive in Casperia 1 week before your holiday on the numbers below or by email.
We recommend that you plan your journey to arrive in Casperia before 5pm.

Late arrivals

If you are delayed, or if you need to arrive later than 5pm, it is important to call us, either before or on the day of arrival, to tell us what time you expect to arrive.
If we do not hear from you by 5pm, our staff may assume that you are not arriving.
