Booking for our 2010 holiday season

Holidays can be booked either through our Booking Office, using the Booking Form, or through our online booking and payment system. Credit card and online payments are subject to a flat €10 surcharge

The fastest and most convenient way to book your holiday is to book and pay in full, using your credit card, debit card or PayPal, through our secure online booking system by clicking the week you want on the calendar on the Dates page »

Booking Through Our Booking Office

To check availability please contact us.

Reservations will be held for up to 48 hours, until we receive your deposit or balance payment.

Booking your holiday and paying the deposit

To confirm a reservation, please complete the Booking Form and fax it, post it or scan and email it to us. Please specify on your Booking Form, one of the following 5 methods of payment and whether you are paying the deposit only or the full balance.

• Credit card: Complete our booking form with your credit card details and fax it to our booking office, or contact us by telephone.
  Credit card bookings from UK customers will be processed in Euros using the exchange rate of the day. Credit card payments are subject to a €10 per-person surcharge which will be added to your balance payment.
• PayPal: If you have specified PayPal, after receiving your booking form we will send a PayPal invoice to your E-mail address. Bookings made through our office using PayPal will be subject to a €10 per-person surcharge.
• Online Banking transfer: Please contact us and we will forward our bank account coordinates to you.
• Sterling cheques: Please enclose a cheque payable to 'Sunflower Retreats Holidays' and post it to our UK booking address at the foot of this page.
• Euro cheques: Please enclose a cheque payable to 'Sunflower Retreats Holidays' and post it to our Italy office address.

Deposit Payments

Once we receive your deposit of either £100 or €130 per-person, your booking is confirmed and a receipt will be sent to you by E-mail and, if requested, by post.

Holidays are priced in Euros. For guests booking a holiday using a Sterling cheque to pay the deposit, the Sterling/Euro exchange on the day booking is made will be used. The same rate will also be used to calculate the balance payment.

Payment Of The Balance

For clients who have paid only the deposit, payment of the outstanding balance is due 3 weeks before arrival.
Please note that balance payments made by cheque can encounter delays. We recommend online banking transfers or payment by Credit Card.
For last minute bookings only, the balance payment can be made upon arrival in Italy in cash (Sterling, Euros or Dollars) or by credit card.

All credit card payments are subject to a €10 per-person surcharge which is payable when your balance payment is made.

Important: We do not accept cheques in Italy.

• As the villlage of Casperia is small, the local bank's cash machine does not always work. We strongly recommend all customers to settle their payment before the start of their holiday or to bring Travellers Cheques or enough cash (in € or £) to settle it on arrival.
• Remember that you will need your PIN number!

Payment For Extras

Extras such as transport, excursions, one-to-one therapies and lessons will be payable at the end of your holiday and are paid using Visa, Mastercard or cash, in either Euros or Sterling.

Holidays of less than 6 nights and long weekends

If you would like to stay for less than 6 nights or for a long weekend, please contact our booking office and we will try to accommodate you.

Bed & Breakfast

We offer Bed & Breakfast at our accommodation in Casperia on weeks when we are not running yoga holidays. Please check our schedule and call our office to ask ask about availability.

Families with children

If you are considering bringing your children to your yoga holiday, we can arrange self-catering accommodation for you in the village of Casperia. To increase your enjoyment of this retreat holiday it is recommended that you have your own transport, to give you flexibility of scheduling.
Unfortunately, there are no baby-sitting facilities available in Casperia.

Mobility

Due to the amount of steps in the village of Casperia, our holidays are not suitable for those with disabilities affecting their mobility.

Travel from Rome Leonardo Da Vinci ('Fiumicino') airport

Casperia is located about 90 minutes from Rome's airports. The cheapest and easiest way to reach us from Fiumicino Airport is by the frequent train service to Poggio Mirteto Scalo station. You can take trains which terminate at either Poggio Mirteto Scalo or Orte. The train fare is around €5. Your ticket entitles you to use the local bus service from Poggio Mirteto Scalo station to Casperia. Please be quick as you leave the train, to avoid missing the bus
The last train from Fiumicino airport to Orte via Poggio Mirteto station is around 22.00

IMPORTANT: If you are arriving by train and would like to be picked up by car at Poggio Mirteto Scalo for the 15Km journey to Casperia, please telephone our Italian office and leave a message on one of the following numbers to let us know the time of the train you are catching so that we can collect you.

Travel from Rome Ciampino airport

You can either travel to Casperia by coach and train or arrange to be collected.

Travel by coach and train is in 4 steps...

• Low-cost carriers sell tickets on-board for the coach service from Ciampino to the city centre which will drop you beside Roma Termini station
• Travel from Termini to Tiburtina station (4 stops) on the Metro 'B' line. Don't forget to frank your ticket before you board
• Take the train from Tiburtina as far as Poggio Mirteto Scalo on the Orte line
• Your ticket entitles you to use the local bus service from Poggio Mirteto Scalo station to Casperia. Please be quick as you leave the train, to avoid missing the bus

Personal collection from Ciampino to Casperia

We can arrange to collect you at a cost of €45-per-person (minimum 2 people). For this service please inform us of your flight arrival date and time and the number of passengers one week before your departure. Book using the link to the form below and we will confirm your booking.

Having a mobile phone works abroad is helpful, so that if the driver is delayed, our Italy office can contact you to let you know. Please let us know the number using the form.

Late arrivals

If you are delayed, or if you need to arrive later than 17.00, it is important to call us, either before or on the day of arrival, to tell us what time you expect to arrive.
If we do not hear from you by 17.00, our staff may assume that you are not arriving.

Hiring a car

Car hire is available at both airports. We suggest booking Hertz, Europcar, or other leading European companies from the UK. Car hire can be useful for guests who would like to be independent and make their own way to restaurants and local attractions.

Directions by car

From Rome airports, take the Grande Raccordo Annulare ring-road (also known as the 'GRA') following signs for Firenze A1.
Take the A1 motorway north for 40Km.
Exit at the Ponzano Romano junction - a small toll is payable.
Follow the signs to Cantalupo in Sabina (12Km), then to Casperia (5Km)

Flights

Great deals are now offered on flights to Rome Ciampino airport by Ryanair and Easyjet.
